Sanremo, Liguria
Sanremo is a port city located on the Ligurian coast in northern Italy. This part of Italy is also called the Italian Riviera. Sanremo is known for the annual music festival that has been held since 1951. Sanremo has a beautiful old town, La Pigna, but also has nice shopping streets, a long cycle path and beautiful beaches.
